TCES Home Learning offers one-to-one distance or home/community tuition to children and young people between the ages of 5 and 19 currently without school-based SEN provision in London.
Whether a child or young person is awaiting a placement from a TCES ‘Outstanding’ school, another school or service, or is without an integration plan, TCES Home Learning offers immediate support for a child’s educational and personal development.
TCES Home Learning uses stringent measures to vet tutors and follows a comprehensive process to match a pupil’s favoured learning style to the most appropriate tutor for their individual needs. With over 20 years’ experience, our team understands that basic educational provision is not suitable for every individual, and that diagnoses rarely depict a child’s true nature.
We allow pupils to be reassured of their worth in an environment that they can learn and thrive in, by providing bespoke resources based on an initial learning assessment that we are able to implement efficiently.
Our wider group, TCES, provides authentic, therapeutic education for young people between the ages of 7-19 years with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs or an Autistic Spectrum Condition. TCES operate a policy of no permanent exclusions and aim to provide a complete transition into full-time schooling.
TCES Home Learning has experience of working with children and young people either with diagnosed or suspected:
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Anxiety and depression
Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC)
General learning difficulties
Moderate learning difficulties
Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)
Sensory learning difficulties
Social, emotional, or mental health needs (SEMH)
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Speech, language, communication needs (SLCN)
Our highly skilled tutors help transform pupils’ perception of their own strengths and abilities, ultimately preparing them for reintegration to small group learning environments.
